Jeff Olson, Pharm.D., M.B.A., BCACP, BCPS

During his third year of pharmacy school, Jeff Olson, Pharm.D., M.B.A., BCACP, BCPS, remembers being blown away by the Residency Showcase at the 2002 Midyear meeting. “I was amazed with the immensity of the event,” he said. “It was a great experience meeting with so many people from across the country, and it set me up well to successfully navigate the showcase the next year and match very well.”

Jeff is currently the System Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services Director at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he is incredibly proud of the growth, development, and success of the students, residents, and individuals on his team.

He believes ASHP is special because of the organization’s dedication to education and training. “It shows a commitment to moving the practice forward and developing great clinicians and leaders,” said Jeff.

He has been a member of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners Advisory Group on Compensation and Practice Sustainability since 2015. In the fall of 2017, he will serve as Vice Chair of that section.
