Christina Martin is the Director of Membership Forums at ASHP in Bethesda, MD. At the time of nomination and selection she was the Pharmacy Supervisor with Lancaster General Health (LGH) in Lancaster, PA where she oversaw pharmacy operations and clinical services for the outpatient infusion centers. Prior to returning to LGH, where she was employed as a Pharmacy Intern from 2005–2010, she held the role of Pharmacy Sterile Products Manager at Reading Hospital, part of Reading Health System. Dr. Martin is a 2015 Distinguished Service Award Winner.

Dr. Martin received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh. She then completed a combined PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration residency at the University of Kansas Hospital and received her Master of Science in Pharmacy Practice from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Martin became involved with ASHP as a student and discovered her passion for organizational involvement while completing an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotation at ASHP Headquarters. Dr. Martin has served ASHP and the New Practitioners Forum in various capacities. As a new graduate, she served as member and then Chair of the Communication and Technology Advisory Group, and as Vice Chair and then Chair of the New Practitioners Forum Executive Committee. She also served as the New Practitioner representative to the ASHP Joint Section/Forum PPMI Coordinating Committee, and most recently as a member on the Council on Pharmacy Practice. At the state and local levels, Dr. Martin serves on the PSHP Board as Secretary and is the President of the Southeastern PSHP (SEPSHP) Chapter.
