Investigational Drugs

Investigational Drug Services run by pharmacists engage in the management of clinical trial activities. These pharmacists are responsible for preparing medications for these trails, ensuring accurate record-keeping, education of healthcare professionals about medications and protocols, and meetings with clinical study monitors. They serve as a resource for all aspects of investigational study where medication administration is involved. Pharmacists will assist with research protocol development, blinding, randomization, and drug formulation.
