Hello Pharmacy Student Forum Members,
I am delighted to announce that the new Pharmacy Student Forum Executive Committee (PSFEC) was installed at this year’s ASHP Summer Meeting and Exhibition held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have the pleasure and sincere honor of serving as Chair of this year’s committee and would like to introduce my fellow members:
Judith Lovince, Vice Chair
Florida A&M University, Class of 2019
Kayla Garzio, Member
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Class of 2018
Laura Nice, Member
Northeast Ohio Medical University, Class of 2018
Spencer Bolton, Member
Sullivan University College of Pharmacy, Class of 2018
The PSFEC’s primary focus is to advise ASHP on the future of the Forum. In doing so, we strive to ensure that you, as a student member, have the tools and resources necessary to achieve your student pharmacist goals and aid in your transition into the new practitioner role. There is already a robust collection of resources available for you on ASHP’s website. These include, but are not limited to, resources to help advocate for the profession, build your professional network, prepare for clinical rotations, plan for your future career, as well as formulate a competitive Curriculum Vitae (CV). Also, do not forget the increasingly popular residency showcase at the Midyear Clinical Meeting!
ASHP is always looking for opportunities to better serve its members, therefore, if you have any ideas or feedback as to how the PSFEC can better support you please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am truly looking forward to serving you this year as Chair of the PSFEC and hope that each of you have a successful and rewarding year!
