Francesca CunninghamFrancesca (Fran) Cunningham, PharmD, is the Associate Chief Consultant, PBM in the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Director of the VA Center for Medication Safety (VAMedSAFE). Her program serves as VA’s comprehensive pharmacovigilance program with a major focus on drug and vaccine safety surveillance assessing the potential risks of new molecular entities or older agents with newly identified adverse events.

Joseph DiPiroJoseph T. DiPiro, PharmD, is Dean, Professor and Archie. O. McCalley Chair at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. He graduate of the University of Connecticut and the University of Kentucky. He served a residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and a fellowship in Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins University. He is Past-President of AACP and Past President of ACCP. He has served on the ASHP Commission on Therapeutics and the Task Force on Science, and as a past Editor of the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.

Scott NelsonScott Nelson, PharmD, MS is a pharmacist and Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Nelson is the Director of the Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics (MS-ACI) online program, and currently works in Medication Safety Informatics in HealthIT, with a focus on medication reconciliation, e-prescribing, and clinical decision support at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
