Cassaundra Kyser Bennett"It's a big enough battle to fight cancer everyday; one that many of us will lose. We shouldn't have to also battle our insurance providers." These are the words Cassaundra Kyser Bennett spoke to the Florida House recently regarding prescription drug reform. In 2015, while serving as a full time music director, Cassaundra was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic Neuro Endocrine Tumor Cancer. Since then she has been in the care of the competent hands at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. In her 8 years of fighting cancer, she has encountered many challenges, one being her insurance provider. 

kenneth komornyKenneth Komorny, PharmD, BCPS, is the Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Kenneth is active in and leads various committees within the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, the Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers, Premier, and FSHP. Previously, he has served as the System Director of Pharmacy for Summa Health in Akron, Ohio as well as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Florida. He held appointments at the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, where he advised and lectured on leadership.
