Sanaz Farhadian, PharmD, BCPP is a clinical pharmacist specialist in Mental Health at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Sanaz provides medication management for Veterans diagnosed with PTSD and substance use disorders. She also serves as a preceptor and voluntary faculty for UC San Diego. Sanaz received her Doctor of Pharmacy from UC San Diego, completed a PGY1 Residency at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles, and a PGY2 Psychiatry Residency at VA San Diego.
Robin Hieber, PharmD, BCPP is currently a mental health clinical pharmacist practitioner and pharmacy program manager for the VISN 23 Clinical Resource Hub based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Robin provides virtual clinical pharmacy services to Veterans Health Administration outpatient clinics. She manages other clinical pharmacy specialists in the CRH. Robin provides inservices/education locally and nationwide. She has devoted her career to teaching and advancing the role of clinical pharmacy specialists in mental health.
Richard Silvia, PharmD, BCPP earned his PharmD degree from the University of Rhode Island and completed a two-year residency/fellowship in psychiatric pharmacy through the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT and the University of Connecticut. He joined the faculty of MCPHS in 2001, and is currently a professor of pharmacy practice. He practices at the Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester, MA, maintaining a busy collaborative practice in integrated behavioral health within the center’s primary care clinics.
Christine Cooper, PharmD is a director, Scientific Projects, Special Projects at ASHP where she specializes in large educational project development to create professional practice certificates. Prior to joining the ASHP Professional Development team, Dr. Cooper worked at AMCP and has practiced community pharmacy with the Veterans Administration and Walgreens. Dr. Cooper is also involved with the International Pharmacists Federation (FIP) to help in advancing the practice of pharmacy worldwide.
