In a sneak peak for the upcoming Midyear in Las Vegas, the SCSS Advisory Group on Emergency Medicine sits down with some can’t-miss educational session presenters to discuss what attendees can hope to learn about new and emerging areas of practice.

SPEAKERS

Katelyn DervayKatelyn Dervay, PharmD, MPH, FASHP, BCPS graduated in 2005 from the University of Florida and then completed her PGY1 residency at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center and PGY2 residency in emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She currently practices at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. She has acted on state, local and hospital emergency preparedness teams and has participated in events such as pandemic flu and mass casualty. Her interests include trauma, toxicology, infectious disease and emergency preparedness.

Vicki BasalygaVicki Basalyga, PharmD MAS, BCPS, BCPPS is the Director of Member Relations for the Clinical Specialists and Scientists at ASHP. In addition to her Director role, Vicki assists in clinical policy development as the Secretary for the Council on Therapeutics, serves as a representative for ASHP on numerous national clinical initiatives and works with members to create essential tools and resources for leaders, practitioners and educators.
