Stuart Beatty, PharmD, BCPS, is associate professor of clinical pharmacy at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, director of strategy and practice transformation at the Ohio Pharmacists Association, president of Strategic Pharmacy Initiatives, LLC, and founder of The Pharmacist Provider. He has practiced as a pharmacist in a primary care setting, served as residency program director, written publications and given presentations on incentivizing pharmacist-provided care and aligning with value-based payments. He is currently leading provider status initiatives in Ohio.
Justin Culshaw, PharmD, is currently a postgraduate year 2 critical care pharmacy resident at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC). He completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at UCMC and obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Culshaw enjoys advocating for pharmacy practice and social change on ASHP’s New Practitioners Forum Legislative Affairs Advisory Group and as contributing editor to UCMC’s diversity and inclusion newsletter, “Inclusion Corner”, emailed to 70+ members of UCMC’s pharmacy department.
