In this podcast, listeners will hear an interview with a pharmacy leader whose health system experienced a cyberattack in 2017.  Discussion will include how the attack occurred, how patient care services were maintained and recovered, and lessons learned from the attack.

Bonnie LevinBonnie Levin, PharmD, MBA, FASHP, (she/her) is vice president, Pharmacy Services for MedStar Health, an integrated health system in Maryland and Washington, D.C. that includes ten hospitals (academic and community), six outpatient pharmacies, centralized distribution/IV admixture services, specialty, pharmacogenomics and ambulatory care.

Chris UrbanskiChris Urbanski, BSPharm, MS, FASHP, (he/him) received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and Master of Science in hospital pharmacy from Butler University. He has over 40 years of pharmacy and healthcare experience, dedicating the majority of his career to pharmacy informatics by serving in various informatics roles. Chris is currently associate director, Medical Affairs for Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in the Medication Management Solutions division.
