This podcast, hosted by the Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents’ Collaborative (PALRC), is intended to give new and upcoming pharmacy leaders and managers tips for navigating upcoming job interviews post-residency.

SPEAKERS

Vishal ShahVishal Shah, PharmD, (he/him) is currently the Emory Specialty Pharmacy Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. Although he is originally from Georgia, he completed his pharmacy school training in Chicago at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. Following pharmacy school, he then went on to complete a PGY1 Specialty Pharmacy residency and PGY2 HSPAL residency program at Emory University Hospital Midtown.

Alyssa Billmeyer Alyssa Billmeyer, PharmD, MHA, (she/her) is the current specialty pharmacy manager at Emory University Hospital Midtown and has been in role since Fall 2018. Alyssa graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa in 2016, and went on to complete a two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency and Masters of Healthcare Administration degree at Froedtert Health directly after. Alyssa’s professional interests include specialty pharmacy, transitions of care, pharmacy practice models, and professional/personal development.

Kofi AndohKofi Andoh, PharmD, MS, (he/him/his) is the pharmacy manager for home infusion services at UC Davis Health. Dr. Andoh completed his leadership training at UW Health through the Health-System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership residency program in Wisconsin. Dr. Andoh serves as a member on the ASHP SPPL Section Advisory Group on Frontline Leaders and the Vizient Business of Pharmacy Enterprise Committee. Dr. Andoh also served on ASHP’s PALRC Leadership Committee as Chair of the Student & Resident Engagement Workgroup. 

Jake NobleJake Noble, PharmD, MPH, (he/him/his) is a PGY1 HSPAL resident for Mayo Clinic - Rochester. A graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, his practice interests include oncology, informatics and clinical practice management. Currently pursuing an M.S. in Healthcare Administration, Jake is an active member in the PALRC HSPAL Resident Resources Workgroup and leads the podcast section. In his free time, he enjoys laser burning, trying new restaurants and traveling.

Brooks PattersonBrooks Patterson, PharmD, (he/him) is from Blairsville, Georgia and a current PGY1 HSPAL resident at Emory University Hospital Midtown. He completed his pre-pharmacy coursework and PharmD at the University of Georgia, graduating in 2023. Throughout his first year of residency, he has volunteered on the HSPAL Resident Resources Workgroup within PALRC, specifically on the PALRC Podcast project group. After completing residency, he intends to practice in an area of pharmacy leadership within a large health system.
