Pharmacy leaders discuss tips for both HSPAL residents completing job applications following residency and current practicing pharmacists looking to move up within their organization. Discussion points include strategies for looking for jobs, reference selection, CV preparation, and what to make sure to include- and leave out- of your applications.

SPEAKERS

Heather DaltonHeather Dalton, PharmD, MS, (she/her) is the specialty pharmacy manager at Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI. She leads and supports the specialty clinical pharmacists at Froedtert’s Home Delivery Specialty Pharmacy and their URAC and ACHC dual-accredited patient management program. She received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy and her postgraduate years 1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, NC in 2022.

Erin BoswellErin Boswell, PharmD, BCPS, (she/her/hers) is the director of acute care pharmacy services at University Health in Kansas City. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology and her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas. Erin completed her HSPAL residency at Saint Luke's Hospital. Prior to pharmacy school, Erin worked as a consultant at Cerner Corporation. Erin is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and currently serves on the board for the Kansas Council of Health-System Pharmacy.

Elly Glazier Elly Glazier, PharmD (she/her) is a PGY1 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy and completed her pre-pharmacy training at the University of Nebraska. Elly is an active member within the ASHP Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents’ Collaborative and is currently pursuing her Masters of Management in Health Care at Vanderbilt University. 

Jake NobleJake Noble, PharmD, MPH, (he/him/his) is a PGY1 HSPAL resident for Mayo Clinic - Rochester. A graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, his practice interests include oncology, informatics and clinical practice management. Currently pursuing an M.S. in Healthcare Administration, Jake is an active member in the PALRC HSPAL Resident Resources Workgroup and leads the podcast section. In his free time, he enjoys laser burning, trying new restaurants and traveling.
