During this podcast, listeners learn about establishing a professional identify as a new practitioner. Speakers include new practitioner members ranging from new graduates to practitioners with a few years of experience. Speakers share their insight and advice on crafting a professional identity and how that identity can evolve throughout your training and career. SPEAKERS

Lauren Grecheck PamulapatiLauren Grecheck Pamulapati, PharmD, BCACP, is an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Pharmacy, where she is responsible for teaching and coordinating courses across all four academic years, including electives in residency preparation and academia and precepting fourth year students. Clinically, Lauren provides chronic disease state management under a collaborative practice agreement. Scholarly endeavors are focused on diabetes management, pharmacist job satisfaction, postgraduate training, and teaching and learning of pharmacy students.

Elyse MacDonaldElyse MacDonald, PharmD, MS, BCPS, is the assistant director of pharmacy services focusing on research pharmacy at Stanford Health Care. Prior to this position, she was the pharmacy manager at the Investigational Drug Service with University of Utah Health. She trained in Drug Information at the University of Utah Health. She is a current member of the Section Advisory Group on Clinical Leadership as part of the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists for ASHP.

Sarah HardemanSarah Hardeman, PharmD, BCPS, graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Belmont University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN in 2016. She subsequently completed residency at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA (now known as Piedmont Columbus). After residency she accepted a position as clinical staff pharmacist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Her current role is as the clinical pharmacist evening supervisor.

Alfred Awuah-Alfred Awuah, PharmD, is a native of Riverdale, Georgia located just outside of Atlanta. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biological science from Georgia State University and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia. His professional interests include clinical pharmacy management, academia, professional development, and executive leadership.
