Discussion will involve their career paths, current or past activities they most enjoyed, advice for fellow informaticists, and where they envision informatics in the future.

Connie Saltsman, PharmD, MBA, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, is the assistant vice president, Clinical Pharmacy Informatics and resident program director for the postgraduate year 2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency at HCA Healthcare in Nashville, TN. She is responsible for leading HCA Healthcare’s clinical pharmacy informatics alignment across interdisciplinary teams to provide care excellence throughout the enterprise. She provides strategic planning and coordination management for the clinical and technical aspects of medication management within multiple EHR systems and other medical software.
Dr. Beth Breeden is an associate professor and chair of graduate Studies in Healthcare Informatics at the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is founding director of the Master of Science in Health Care Informatics (MHCI), dual PharmD/MHCI degree programs, postgraduate year 2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency program and assisted development of the PGY1 and 2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency with Lipscomb and LifePoint Health. Her experience includes academia, health system pharmacy, and software development industry.
Pooja Ojha, PharmD is the postgraduate year 2 pharmacy informatics resident at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Pooja completed pharmacy school at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown in Columbus, GA. Pooja’s professional interests as they pertain to informatics pharmacy are clinical decision support and automation. In her free time, Pooja likes to explore different types of food and explore the outdoors.
