SPEAKERS
Allison Given is a rising second year pharmacy student at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy in Charleston, WV. She works as a pharmacy intern in both an inpatient and community setting. Her interests include infectious disease and harm reduction. When she is not in a pharmacy, Allison can be found reading, hiking, spending time with her siblings, or playing with her dog, Doc Holliday.
Daniel J. Cobaugh, PharmD, FAACT, DABAT is the senior vice president of professional development and publishing at ASHP and the editor-in-chief of AJHP. He has served on the ASHP staff since 2002. He received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University. Cobaugh completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and a clinical toxicology fellowship at the Pittsburgh Poison Center. He practiced as pharmacist-clinical toxicologist and held faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center.
