This podcast dives into Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency programs to provide current pharmacy students with information about this specialized residency program. Members of ASHP’s Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents’ Collaborative (PALRC) Leadership Committee share their knowledge and experiences with students interested in learning more about a career in health-system pharmacy administration.

SPEAKERS

Hope RockettHope Rockett, PharmD, MS is currently a PGY2 HSPAL resident at the University of Kansas Health System. She serves as ASHP’s PALRC Chair of the Advocacy & Practice Advancement Workgroup and has had the opportunity to work with ASHP House of Delegates, pharmacists, and other residents to increase advocacy efforts. She hopes to continue to develop her leadership skills and advance the profession forward post-residency as she becomes an ambulatory operations manager at the University of Kansas Health System.

Kofi AndohKofi Andoh, PharmD is a PGY2/MS Health-System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership (HSPAL) Resident at University of Wisconsin (UW) Health in Madison, WI. Andoh earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Andoh was initially appointed to the ASHP Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residents’ Collaborative (PALRC) as Vice Chair of the Student & Resident Engagement Workgroup. Currently, he serves on the PALRC leadership team as Chair of the Student & Resident Engagement Workgroup.

Killian RodgersKillian Rodgers, PharmD is a PGY2/MS Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident at UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC. This year he has served as the Chair of the Resident Resources and Research workgroup for the Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents' Collaborative (PALRC). Prior to residency, Rodgers completed his PharmD training at The Ohio State University. His main practice interests include analytics, informatics, and artificial intelligence.

Brittney SjulstadBrittney Sjulstad grew up in Eagan, MN, before earning her B.A. in Chemistry at Luther College in Decorah, IA. After graduating, she pursued a PharmD at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy while interning at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is looking forward to continuing her pharmacy career as a PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership resident at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center after completing her studies in May.
