In this podcast, members of the Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents’ Collaborative (PALRC) discuss strategies and advice to help future residents navigate the post-match process. Speakers highlight important steps that newly-matched residents can take to set themselves up for a successful transition into their residency positions.

SPEAKERS

Haley MillerHaley Miller, PharmD, BCPS, (she/her/hers) is a recent graduate from Drake University. She completed her Post-Graduate year 1 training at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City and stayed on to complete her Post-Graduate year 2 training in Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership. After completion of her PGY2, she will begin her new role as a pharmacy operations manager at The University of Kansas Health System Cancer Care.

Matthew Buchellner Matthew Buchfellner, PharmD (he/him) is a PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership resident with Dartmouth Health in New Hampshire and Vermont. He is a recent graduate of the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy in Ohio. Matthew is an active member within the ASHP Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residents’ Collaborative and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Colby-Sawyer College. 

Maybeth JamesMaybeth James, PharmD, (she/her/hers) is a PGY2/MS Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership resident at Cleveland Clinic. Maybeth attended pharmacy school at Ohio Northern University where she received her PharmD in 2022. Her interests include transitions of care, population health, clinical pharmacy management, and education and training.
