SPEAKERS

Spencer BoltonDr. Spencer Bolton is currently the PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration from Sullivan University College of Pharmacy in Louisville, KY in 2018. He then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN.

Joe MarchianoJoe Marchiano is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Professional areas of interest include academia, internal medicine, and infectious disease. Joe also enjoys participating in outdoor activities, playing board games, and exploring music with friends and family.

LaTasha RiddickLaTasha Riddick is currently a Clinical Coordinator Pharmacist at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, Specialty Pharmacy Services. LaTasha received her Doctorate from The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2015. She then went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Maine Medical Center in 2017. LaTasha’s professional interests include medication therapy management, medication safety, and public health. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, landscape photography, and refining her home cooking skills.

Tom SzymanskiDr. Tom Szymanski, a native of Connecticut, received his PharmD and BA in French from the University of Rhode Island. He then completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency and PGY2 cardiology pharmacy residency at Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist at WVU Medicine J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he rounds with the cardiac surgery team. Tom's practice areas of interest include left ventricular assist device management, advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and acute coronary syndromes. Outside of pharmacy, Tom enjoys reading thriller novels, bass fishing, traditional country music, and cheering for the UConn basketball teams.

Olga VlashynOlga Vlashyn is a first-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration (HSPA) resident at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Olga received her Doctorate from Purdue University in 2019. Olga currently serves as a work group lead for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) New Practitioners Forum and as a member at large on the resident advisory committee through the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). Olga’s professional interests include clinical management, medication safety, academia, and global health. She enjoys traveling, reading, running half-marathons, and trying out new restaurants in Columbus.
