Kevin GareyKevin W. Garey (he/him) is professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in Houston, Texas. Garey is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Public Health and clinical specialist and researcher at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of American (IDSA) Standards and Practice Guidelines Committee, as well as the IDSA-Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) practice guidelines committee for Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI). His research, supported by the National Institute of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the pharmaceutical industry, involves clinical and translational research in healthcare-associated infections, including post-surgical infections, candidemia, and CDI. In 2023, Garey received the ASHP Foundation Literature Award for Sustained Contributions

C. Michael WhiteC. Michael White (he/him) is a distinguished professor and chair of pharmacy practice at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. His over 450 publications have been published in journals such as JAMA, The Lancet, and Annals of Internal Medicine, with media coverage from NBC Nightly News, Good Morning America, and other national media outlets. In 2016, he received the ASHP Foundation Literature Award for Sustained Contributions.
