In this episode, the team from the Kettering Health to discuss their award-winning submission to the ASHP Best Practices. They will share how their COVID-19 treatment referral program has proven to be highly successful at addressing several challenges associated with outpatient treatment selection for patients with COVID-19 including fair allocation of resources, patient access to inventory, and drug-specific considerations through a pharmacist-driven and collaborative approach to care. 

SPEAKERS

Elizabeth Libby JacobElizabeth “Libby” Jacob, PharmD, BCPS, (she/her) is a 2014 graduate of Ohio Northern University and completed a post graduate year 1 Pharmacy Residency at Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, Ohio. Libby currently serves as the manager of pharmacy residency and residency program director over two single-site PGY1 Pharmacy Residencies within Kettering Health (KH). She also manages the coordination of pharmacy student rotations within KH and serves on the network clinical pharmacy team. Libby is a proud mother of four.

Julia LandisJulia Landis, PharmD, BCPS, (she/her) is a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the network director of clinical pharmacy services at Kettering Health where she drives process, quality, and medication use improvement initiatives through optimization of clinical pharmacy services.
