Becoming Involved on a National Level: ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum

This podcast will serve the purpose to explain how to get involved nationally with ASHP’s Pharmacy Student Forum and to encourage student pharmacists across the country to apply to advisory groups. We will be discussing with student advisory group chairs on their involvement and experiences.

SPEAKERS

Kiera RoubalKiera Roubal will be an upcoming PGY1 Resident at Medical University of South Carolina Health with current interests in Critical Care, Medicine, and Clinical Research.

 

Nikhila ViswanathanNikhila Viswanathan is a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate of the class of 2022 at Temple University School of Pharmacy. She is also pursuing her Master of Science in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations at Temple University. Currently, she serves as a member of ASHP’s Pharmacy Student Forum Career and Leadership Development advisory group. Throughout her time in ASHP this year, she has refined her leadership skills and connected with other pharmacy students across the nation

Amy GuisingerAmy Guisinger iis a dual PharmD/MPH student at the University of North Carolina. She currently serves as the Chair of the Advancement of Professional Practice ASHP PSF Advisory Group. Amy has held multiple leadership roles during her pharmacy school tenure, including serving as the UNC Medical Center Chief Intern, Professional Development Chair for the UNC Graduate and Professional School Student Government, previous CeCAG member, and as a current recipient of the ASHP Student Leadership Award.

Hubert KusdonoHubert Kusdono is a P4 student at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. His leadership involvement with ASHP stems from the chapter level, from where he eventually sought opportunities as a member and Work Group Lead in one of the PSF Advisory Groups. He currently serves as Chair of the Career and Leadership Development Advisory Group. Upon graduating, Hubert plans to complete a two-year Value and Access Communications Fellowship at Xcenda.

Jessica ConnJessica Conn is currently a P4 student at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She will begin her PGY-1 residency at the Orlando VA Medical Center this summer. Her main areas of interest are ambulatory care and critical care.
