Join us for a discussion of real-world examples for incorporating wellness activities into organizational efforts to support individual well-being and resilience. Guests will also discuss a vision for leveraging the pharmacy workforce in wellness-related patient care services as a means to promote health and advance the profession.

SPEAKERS

Scott KjelsonScott Kjelson, PharmD, (he/him) is manager of pharmacy wellness and brand development at Baptist Health South Florida where he created the nation’s first ever Clinical Wellness Pharmacist roles. Dr. Kjelson is a certified Sports Nutrition Coach and a Well-being Ambassador for ASHP. He also served in roles in academia, clinical pharmacy, and consulting. Dr. Kjelson received his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Pharmacy. Before that, Dr. Kjelson served as a Corpsman in the U.S. Navy.

Marissa MauricioMarissa Mauricio, PharmD, MBA, (she/her) is a clinical wellness pharmacist servicing the oncology, women’s health, and employee wellness programs. Prior to this role, she completed the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Executive Fellowship in Association Leadership and Management and graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Marissa is a Certified Wellness Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, ASHP Well-Being Ambassador, and consultant pharmacist. 

Anna Legreid-DoppAnna Dopp, PharmD, (she/her) serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Guidelines and Quality Improvement at ASHP. Prior to this role, Dr. Dopp served as the Vice President of Public Affairs for the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin while practicing as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. She also served as a Pharmacy Benefit Consultant with WEA Trust in Madison, WI and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. Dr. Dopp received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University Of Minnesota College Of Pharmacy and served as a Congressional Health Policy Fellow with the United States Senate.
