This podcast provides an engaging interview with three pharmacy leaders who have had successful careers and contributed to health system professional associations. Lindsey Kelley, Christy Norman, and Suzanne Shea will share their insights on their professional journeys as pharmacists and executive leaders and what it means to lead with authenticity.

SPEAKERS

Lindsey R. KelleyLindsey R. Kelley, PharmD, MS, FASHP, (she/her/hers) is associate chief pharmacy officer for University of Michigan Health, Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI. She serves as program director for the PGY1 community pharmacy residency and adjunct faculty at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy where she enjoys teaching pharmacy law. Areas of research interest and professional achievement include practice innovation, workforce development, advocacy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

Christy NormanChristy Norman, PharmD, MS, BCPS, FASHP, CPEL, (she/her) currently serves as the vice president of pharmacy services at Emory Healthcare. Christy is a past president of the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists. As a member of ASHP, she serves as chair of the Council on Pharmacy Management and chair of Pharmacy Executive Leadership Alliance Advisory Panel. 

Suzanne Shea Suzanne Shea, BS Pharm, MBA, CPEL, (she/her/hers) is vice president, system pharmacy and clinical nutrition at Sharp Healthcare since 2018. Prior to her role at Sharp, she was regulatory director at CPS for California specializing in 340B and regulatory analysis. Suzanne worked for 18 years at Cardinal Health starting as a pharmacy director and leaving as vice president, pharmacy operations to work at Kaiser Permanente as vice president, Northern California Pharmacy. Suzanne is a proud graduate of The University of Texas College of Pharmacy receiving her BS, Pharmacy and then earned an MBA, Healthcare Administration at University of Dallas. 

Hannah VanderpoolHannah K. Vanderpool, PharmD, MA, (she/her/hers) is the vice president of Member Relations at ASHP and the executive director of The Pharmacy Technician Society (TPTS).  Hannah received her PharmD from Drake University and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Hannah holds a MA from The George Washington University in organizational management.   Hannah has worked at ASHP since 1997 and actively engages with ASHP and TPTS members about strategic initiatives in advancing pharmacy practice.
