Dr. Brandenburg is a Clinical Pharmacist in Child Neurology at University of Kentucky HealthCare. Upon graduating with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2015 from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, Dr. Brandenburg went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Knowing she had a love for pediatric pharmacy practice, Dr. Brandenburg returned to Lexington, KY to complete her Pediatric Pharmacy Specialty Residency under the guidance of Dr. Brian Gardner at the University of Kentucky. Her interests include epilepsy management, health literacy, patient medication adherence and outcomes, and transitions of care.

Dr. Emily Chen received her PharmD at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in 2001 and went on to complete a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Shortly thereafter she moved to Charlottesville and began her clinical career at UVA Health as a General Neurology Pharmacist. In 2009, she joined the Pediatric Pharmacy team under the tutelage of Marcia Buck, PharmD, BCPPS, and in 2017 achieved Board Certification in Pediatric Pharmacotherapy. Since joining the Pediatric Pharmacy team, Emily has helped to develop three additional clinical service lines, participated in the training of pharmacy and medical residents, has been involved in select Children’s Hospital Guideline development, and research and quality projects related to hematology/oncology and infectious disease. Emily is currently interested in further developing the pediatric hematology/ oncology and infectious disease pharmacy practice areas at UVA Health.

Dr. Lea S. Eiland is a Clinical Professor and Associate Department Head of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy. Peter Johnson, PharmD, BCPPS, BCPS, FCCM, FPPAG, is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the OU College of Pharmacy and Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the OU College of Medicine. He also maintains an active practice site in the Medical and Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU’s at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center (CHO) in Oklahoma City precepting PGY1/PGY2 residents and students. In addition, Dr. Johnson is a consultant for the Pediatric Pain Management Team at CHO. Dr. Johnson serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency and Director of the Clinical and Translational Science Fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacotherapy at the OU College of Pharmacy and CHO. Dr. Johnson received his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Following his tenure at Ole Miss, Dr. Johnson completed his PGY1 pharmacy and PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residencies at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. Johnson is board certified in pharmacotherapy and pediatric pharmacy. In addition, he was inducted as a fellow of PPAG in 2016 and SCCM in 2018. His research/scholarship focuses in pain management, sedation, and drug withdrawal in children.

Dr. Zanette Kanani Bradley is a pediatric clinical pharmacist at Children’s Hospital Colorado and specializes in pediatric oncology. Erin Martin received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy. Lane Nguyen is a Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacist specializing in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Nguyen provides support in pharmacotherapy for critically ill infants, children and young adults as a member of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Their team in the PICU is staffed with pediatricians, nurse practitioners and nurses who focus their clinical efforts on the needs of critically ill infants, children and young adults. Dr. Parsons is the Pediatric Clinical Pharmacy Specialist of Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Cystic Fibrosis at The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) and serves as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatrics At Eastern Virginia Medical School. at the Children`s Hospital of The King`s Daughters. She received Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Pharmacy. Dr. Parsons completed a PGY1 residency with a focus in pediatrics at HCA Health system in Richmond Virginia. Prior to relocating to Norfolk, she worked as a pediatric pharmacy specialist in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units at the University of Virginia Children`s Hospital (UVA-CH) in Charlottesville Virginia for 6 years. At UVA-CH, she implemented pediatric ambulatory care services in the cystic fibrosis clinic and pharmacist lead pharmacokinetics services. At CHKD, Dr. Parsons is the antimicrobial stewardship program co-lead and a member of the cystic fibrosis care team, participating on daily rounds, patient care conferences, and serves as an infectious diseases expert. Dr. Parsons is available by direct consultation and manages pharmacokinetic drug therapy in addition to medication policies, guidelines, and references. She has a special interest in multi-drug resistant pathogens and pharmacokinetics, nontuberculous mycobacterium infections, and SAR-CoV-2 related infections. Dr. Parsons is a leading member of the hospital wide COVID-19 management team, presented multiple lectures nationally, and authored multiple peer-review publications on the management of COVID-19 and associated complications in children. Additionally, Dr. Parsons has presented internationally and nationally on the management of nontuberculous mycobacterium in patients with cystic fibrosis. Furthermore, she designed the current treatment guidelines for COVID-19 in children and the treatment guidelines for Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) at CHKD, which have been presented to the Virginia Academy of Pediatrics, nationally, and references in peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Parsons has been recognized nationally by the academy of clinical pharmacy (ACCP) for her efforts and is currently nominated to receive the 2022 Inside Business Health Care Hero Award.

Ashley Sabus, PharmD, BCOP is an Ambulatory Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinical pharmacist at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy practice residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Sabus is involved in experiential education as an Advanced Pharmacy Practice preceptor and she presents an annual guest lecture on Sickle Cell Disease for the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She specializes in pharmacotherapy for pediatric patients with brain tumors and non-malignant hematologic disorders. As part of her commitment to advancing the care of this patient population, she has led a variety of quality improvement projects, such as creation of an iron chelator monitoring guideline and CNS tumor roadmap refresh project. She has authored peer-reviewed publications and delivered national and local poster presentations. Examples of her recent work include a review of safety in concomitant use of MEK and BRAF inhibitors with bevacizumab, a single institution’s report of the drug interaction between everolimus and cannabidiol in pediatric patients with subependymal giant cell astrocytomas, and a pharmacotherapy review article on the management of self-injurious behaviors in children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Jennifer Thackray is the Manager of Pediatric Clinical Pharmacy Services and the Director of a PGY2 Oncology Residency Program in pediatric oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Kids (MSK Kids) in New York, NY. Dr. Thackray earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2009. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency (2010) and a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacotherapy Specialty Residency (2011) at the University of North Carolina Health Clinics in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Thackray is boardcertified in pharmacotherapy and pediatric pharmacotherapy. Dr. Thackray joined the MSK Department of Pharmacy in 2011, initially practicing in the pediatric oncology inpatient setting. Over her tenure at MSK, Dr. Thackray has assisted in developing pediatric clinical services in the outpatient leukemia clinic and the outpatient sarcoma clinic. Her clinical practice includes rotating between inpatient oncology, outpatient leukemia and outpatient neurooncology clinical services. Currently, Dr. Thackray serves as a clinical preceptor in these areas, a PGY2 resident mentor and a research mentor for PGY2 resident research projects. Dr. Thackray's clinical interests and research efforts include pediatric oncology supportive care measures (i.e., chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, venous thromboembolism, menses suppression, etc), pharmacogenomics and clinical guideline development within international organizations. Dr. Thackray received the 2021 Ralph D. Bienfang Outstanding Practitioner Award from The Alumni Affairs Board of The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Dr. Thackray is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Children’s Oncology Group (COG), Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC), Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) and The Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA).

Lisa Thames, PharmD, BCPS, is Assistant Director, Inpatient Pharmacy Services and Director, Education Programs at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. In addition, Dr. Thames serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Thames earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Residency and PGY2 Pediatric Residency at University of Kentucky Healthcare. Dr. Thames formerly served as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit clinical pharmacy specialist, Pediatric Medication Safety & Quality clinical pharmacy specialist, PGY1 residency program co-director, Chief of Pediatric Pharmacy Services, and PGY2 Pediatrics residency program director at UF Health Shands Hospital prior to her current role as Assistant Director of Inpatient Pharmacy Services.
Dr. Thames has held various leadership positions including past Secretary and President of the North Central Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (NCFSHP), founding steering committee member and past Chair of the regional Florida Residency Conference (FRC), council member on the UHC Pediatric Pharmacy Committee, and Board of Director for FSHP. Dr. Thames’ primary areas of interest include pediatric medication safety and pharmacy leadership.
