How Technicians Can Participate and Prepare for an Inspection

Thursday, October 29, 2020, 3:00-4:00 pm ET

Pharmacy technicians are a valuable member of any pharmacy team. Pharmacy technicians often have the greatest knowledge of procedures and policy used, and are the primary trainers for many aspects within the organization, which can prove invaluable during an inspection. During inspections pharmacy technicians will be interviewed and observed by inspectors, but are not prepared as this is not a required training topic and often are not invited to any planning sessions prior to a schedule inspection. This presentation will help prepare pharmacy technicians and their organizations how to be better prepared to utilize pharmacy technicians during an inspection.
