The Section of Pharmacy Educators is an integral part of ASHP and something I have supported for years even before its official formation. I have been extremely fortunate to work with incredible ASHP members, colleagues, and pharmacy educators throughout my career. They have provided mentorship, guidance, insight, and most importantly unequivocal friendship over the years. With the official formation of the Section of Pharmacy Educators, ASHP has solidified the vital role of pharmacy educators in our professional organization. The opportunity to serve ASHP, the Section of Pharmacy Educators, and the pharmacy profession means I can serve you as members, colleagues, and friends. The Section of Pharmacy Educators, even though it is still in its infancy stage, has already made an incredible impact and we will continue to lead positive change for the pharmacy profession and the patients we all serve. I will work to ensure that members of this Section are well represented, their concerns heard, and actions recognized by ASHP as well as ASHP leadership. Ensuring pharmacy education is better tomorrow than it is today, is a driving force for my endeavors to serve you and ASHP.

I am humbled and honored to be nominated for the Chair position of the Section of Pharmacy Educators. I look forward to the opportunity to serve with and for every member of this Section! Thank you, in advance, for your thoughtful consideration. Take care and stay safe.
