Reason for the Shortage

    • Padagis has temporarily discontinued Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol. The company is working with FDA to reformulate to a 25 gram /240 mL product for both the Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol products.
    • PAI (VistaPharm) did not provide a reason for the shortage.

Estimated Resupply Dates

    • Padagis has temporarily discontinued Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol and the company cannot estimate when product will return to market.
    • PAI (VistaPharm) has Insta-Char 25 gram/240 mL bottles (unflavored) available with short expiration dating (March 2027). Insta-Char in Sorbitol 25 gram/240 mL bottles (cherry flavor) are also available with short expiration dating (September 2026).
