Reason for the Shortage

    • AuroMedics did not provide a reason for the shortage.
    • Pfizer has meropenem injection on shortage due to manufacturing delays. Meropenem 500 mg and 1 gram vials in 25 count were discontinued in February 2020.
    • Sagent discontinued meropenem injection.
    • Sanoz did not provide a reason for the shortage.
    • WG Critical Care launched meropenem in April 2020.
