    • Hydrocortisone oral tablet, Greenstone, 10 mg, bottle, 100 count, NDC 59762-0074-01
    • Hydrocortisone oral tablet, Greenstone, 20 mg, bottle, 100 count, NDC 59762-0075-01

Reason for the Shortage

    • Amneal has hydrocortisone 20 mg tablets available. Amneal discontinued hydrocortisone 5 mg and 10 mg tablets in the first half of 2020.
    • Greenstone did not provide a reason for the shortage.
    • Pfizer states the shortage is due to increase demand.

Estimated Resupply Dates

    • Amneal has discontinued hydrocortisone 10 mg tablets. The company is distributing supplies until they are depleted.
    • Greenstone has hydrocortisone 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg tablets in lmited supply and the company is allocating supplies.
    • Pfizer has Cortef 10 mg tablets in 100 count bottles on back order and the company estimates a release date in late-May 2020.
