Reason for the Shortage

    • Alembic has timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution available.
    • Bausch Health discontinued Timoptic-XE ophthalmic gel forming solution in July 2023. The company discontinued timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution in September 2020.
    • Fosun has timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution available.
    • Sandoz did not provide a reason for the shortage.
