Reason for the Shortage

- Alembic has timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution available.
- Bausch Health discontinued Timoptic-XE ophthalmic gel forming solution in July 2023. The company discontinued timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution in September 2020.
- Fosun has timolol ophthalmic gel forming solution available.
- Sandoz did not provide a reason for the shortage.
