Katherine Palmer

Katherine Palmer currently serves as the Sterile Products Area Supervisor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. In her role, Dr. Palmer oversees the main pharmacy sterile products operations, as well as several transitions of care initiatives. Prior to this, she served as a Pharmacy Program Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai.

Dr. Palmer received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After which she completed a PGY-1 residency in pharmacy practice at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. She also completed a PGY-2 residency in pharmacy administration at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Palmer has served ASHP and the New Practitioners Forum in a variety of capacities. She served as both a member and then Chair of the New Practitioners Forum Leadership and Career Development Advisory Group.

Dr. Palmer served as Vice Chair then Chair of the New Practitioners Forum Executive Committee. She was also a member of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers (SPPM) Section Advisory Group on Quality and Compliance. Dr. Palmer is currently Chair of the SPPM Quality and Compliance Advisory Group.

At the state level, Dr. Palmer is a member of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
