Kellie L.E. Musch is the Site Manager, Pharmacy Services at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. In this role, Dr. Musch is responsible for fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and operations of the pharmacy department servicing a 640 bed, disproportionate share, Level I trauma center and 18-bay oncology infusion center. Additionally, Dr. Musch is the PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Program Coordinator. She precepts a variety of rotation experiences for APPEs, PGY1s, and PGY2s.

Dr. Musch received her PharmD degree from the Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University. After graduation, she went on to complete an ASHP-accredited PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. Concurrently, she completed her Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration (MS) at the Ohio State University. Her first role after completion of residency included oversight of freestanding emergency departments at OhioHealth, a new model of pharmaceutical care delivery she helped to design. Dr. Musch was promoted to her current role in December 2019.

Within ASHP, Dr. Musch is currently a member of the Section of Pharmacy Educators Development of Post-Graduate Education and Learning Experiences Advisory Group. Previously, she served in a variety of capacities within the New Practitioners Forum (NPF). Dr. Musch started her service to the Forum in 2015 working her way from a member to work group lead followed by Chair of the Career Development Advisory Group. Through this work, Dr. Musch was integral in the development of the CV Transitions Toolkit and guide to navigating Personnel Placement Service (PPS) at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. Dr. Musch then served as Member, Vice Chair and Chair of the Forum’s Executive Committee. In these roles, Dr. Musch helped to oversee a collaboration with the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacists (AJHP) to better prepare New Practitioners for leading high-quality research and the launch of a new tool to connect with New Practitioner members with a dedicated Twitter account (@ASHP_NPF). On the local level, Dr. Musch is actively involved in the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) and was recently elected Division Director, Membership, Media, and Marketing. Dr. Musch also serves as an ASHP State Delegate for Ohio.

Dr. Musch's professional interests include value driven leadership, advocating for women in the workplace, financial management, pharmacy technician advancement, emerging technology, transitions of care, and development of new practitioners.
