Professional Interests
My professional interests include pediatrics and oncology. I am very passionate about pediatrics because it is a patient population that requires lots of precision and is very personalized. I love the determination in the pediatric population and caring for children!

Why did you become involved in ASHP?
I was involved in SSHP as a student because I was interested in working in a health-system pharmacy in the future. I continued being involved with ASHP after graduation because I liked all of the opportunities that ASHP had to offer.

What would you tell others if asked how to get involved with ASHP?
I would tell others to look on ASHP's website to see how to get more involved and find out how to be involved in ASHP.

What unique characteristic/perspective do you bring to your everyday work or the pharmacy profession?
I bring positivity to my work and the pharmacy profession. This is an important characteristic to have to grow as a team and avoid burnout.

What do you like to do for fun? What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of pharmacy?
Marathon running, sand volleyball, rock climbing, and backpacking!

What advice would you give to other new practitioners?
Continue being curious; this will help you continuously grow as a practitioner and lifelong learner.
