Why I Do What I Do

I became a Technician by accident, haven't said that. I do what I do because I love helping people feel better and rejoice when they overcome their health problems.

Latest Accomplishment

My latest accomplishments include becoming a member of the ASHP Pharmacy Technician Patient Care and Quality Advisory Forum, and completing my PharmTechX Certifications - Advance Practice Pharmacy Technician ( Certificate 1, Leadership and Patient Care, Certificate 2 Excellence in Health-System Pharmacy and certificate 3 Community Pharmacy Practice and Management).

Most Memorable Experience as a Pharmacy Technician

My most experience is when I received my CPhT Board Certification.

Why I Became Certified

I became certified because I wanted the pharmacist and other professionals alike to recognize that technicians are part of this profession and we are well trained. It also gives you that professional recognition, and tells others that you are serious about your profession and the job that you do daily as a technician.

My Passion Outside of Work

Spending time with my family and girlfriends.

Latest Book Read

At this time I am engulfed in preparing to retake my CSPT exam, to complete my Medication Management Certification.

Advice to Up-and-Coming Technicians

Always have a mind for learning; join professional bodies that cater to your profession; keep wanting to be the best in what you do as a technician.
