When did you first join ASHP?

In my first semester of pharmacy school, fall 2020.

What is your current involvement with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum (i.e. advisory group or executive committee appointment)?

Currently, I am on the Pharmacy Student Forum Advancement of Professional Practice Advisory Group.

What is your favorite part of your ASHP student membership? What has been most beneficial about being a student member of ASHP?

My favorite part of ASHP student membership is the CV review program. Now that I am in my third year, I have started focusing on building and formatting my CV as I am a year away from applying to residency.

What is your favorite memory from an ASHP event, project, or program?

My favorite ASHP event is the Clinical Skills Competition. This is a great way to practice my clinical skills I have learned in the classroom and appeals to my competitive nature.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations?

National organizations are a great way to network with other students and pharmacist from different regions in the country. Pharmacy is small world and this is a great way to start building relationship at the beginning of pharmacy school.
