Reasons for selecting pharmacy:

I became interested in pharmacy in high school when my oldest sister started pharmacy school. Through her, I learned more of what a pharmacist can do and how important they are as part of a healthcare team.

Professional Interests: Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine

Interest in the PSF Executive Committee: I was exposed to the PSF Executive committee by the previous chair, Autumn Pinard who inspired me to apply. She is one of my go-to people for anything related to pharmacy or ASHP and I was inspired by her work with PSF and hope to do the same.

How being a member of ASHP has assisted in my personal and professional development:

I became a member of ASHP the first month of pharmacy school when I joined my school’s SSHP chapter. This decision to join has been the most beneficial especially now as I go into my fourth year of pharmacy school. The resources and opportunities ASHP offers is unlike anything any other pharmacy organization offers. Some of the most useful resources I have found are the CV review, Residency Directory, residency roadmap (P1-P3), and the guided mentorship.

Goals for the year as a PSFEC Member:

• Promote and create new pharmacy student resources
• Increase Student involvement and recognition at local and national level
• Promote leadership opportunities at local and national levels for all students

Fun Fact: 

I can probably quote Broadway musicals better than I can remember the top 200, and I am really good at the top 200.
