When did you first join ASHP?

I joined ASHP my first year of pharmacy school.

What is your current involvement with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum (i.e. advisory group or executive committee appointment)?

I currently serve on the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum Advancement of Pharmacy Practice Advisory Group.

What is your favorite part of your ASHP student membership? What has been most beneficial about being a student member of ASHP?

The most beneficial part for me has been access to professional certifications in specialty areas of interest, such as anticoagulation and diabetes management.

What is your favorite memory from an ASHP event, project, or program?

My favorite memory was serving as a scribe and cofacilitator at ASHP Midyear SSHP Leadership Workshop, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations?

My advice to students seeking involvement in a national organization is go for it! My involvement has allowed me to make connections, earn certifications, and have involvement in the Midyear showcase. Getting to serve in a position in ASHP was one of the greatest honors of my pharmacy career to date.
