When did you first join ASHP?

I joined ASHP my P1 year and have loved being involved ever since!

What is your current involvement with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum (i.e. advisory group or executive committee appointment)?

I am a member of the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice Advisory Group.

What is your favorite part of your ASHP student membership? What has been most beneficial about being a student member of ASHP?

My favorite part of being an ASHP student member has been all of the opportunities to connect with other student pharmacists and the chance to learn more from pharmacists that I admire at our SSHP events.

What is your favorite memory from an ASHP event, project, or program?

My favorite ASHP event was our SSHP chapter's Pharmacist Roundtable Event. We had to the chance to meet with and talk to pharmacists from a wide variety of practice areas.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations?

Any level of involvement is a learning opportunity and can really help students with both personal and professional growth. While it may seem intimidating to apply to national organizations, it will definitely be a valuable leadership experience that you won't regret.
