Biographical information

Jennifer received her PharmD from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, UT, and has been a member of ASHP since 2017. She began her journey in pharmacy beginning as a technician while obtaining her Bachelor's degree. In 2022 she completed her Master's degree in Business Administration-Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.

Current employment, practice, and academic responsibilities:

Jennifer Wheeler, PharmD, CDCES is the Chief Clinical Officer for Community Health Alliance in Reno, NV, where she oversees all medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services provided across six health center locations. Prior to her current role, Jennifer served as the Chief Pharmacy Officer at Community Health Alliance and directed all retail and ambulatory care services, as well as the 340b program. She has been a preceptor for students from over five universities, mentoring students in both retail and ambulatory care services.

I have been a member of ASHP since pharmacy school. I began becoming more actively involved when I joined the A3 collaborative about five years ago. I have since been a member of the SAG for of Community Pharmacy Practitioners on Business Development and Practice Excellence Advisory Group for the past year and look forward to being the chair this year!
