Advice for Someone New to Your Specialty Area
Dr. Goldman's general advice for anyone in Pharmacy or in life comes from three quotes from The Paradoxical Commandments by Kent M. Keith (often attributed to Mother Teresa):
"The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds. Think big anyway."
"If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway."
"What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway."
Value of ASHP"As a member of ASHP I have found the ability to network as invaluable. Being able to reach out to colleagues all over the world who are dealing with simiar problems and issues is vital for exchange of ideas and organizational efficiency and success."
