Justin Goette

His Story

Dr. Justin Goette received his Pharm.D. from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy - Columbia in 2014. Since then he has been working as an informatics pharmacist at a large community health system and hospital in the greater Columbia, South Carolina area. He currently works at Lexington Medical Center.

Lexington Medical Center is a large community health system and hospital serving Columbia, Lexington, and the rest of the South Carolina Midlands area.

Significant Projects

Most recent significant project was the implementation of a heparin-dosing clinical decision support tool within the electronic health record. This involved working closely with operational leadership and across disciplines.

I am a three-time member of the Clinical Applications Section Advisory Group.

Advice for Someone New to Your Specialty Area

My primary advice would be to find an efficient way to keep up-to-date with news and trends within the fields of both pharmacy and computer science broadly.
