Jillian Foster
Jillian’s Story
Jillian Foster received her B.S., Pharm. D, and M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi. She completed a PGY1 and PGY2 (Administration/Management) at North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC). She was the Pharmacy Benefits Manager at NMMC for 3 years. Then, she became the Director of Pharmacy and Residency Program Director at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS for 4 years. Jillian moved to the Memphis, TN area to serve as the Executive Director for the Baptist Cancer Center. She still works for Baptist as the System Pharmacy Service Line Administrator working with 15 hospitals, 16 infusion centers, retail pharmacies, and home infusion.
Jillian is past president of the Mississippi Society of Health Systems Pharmacy (MSHP) and a current member of Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Multi-Hospital Pharmacy Executives.
Facility
Baptist is a multi-hospital health system in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Baptist has 16 provided based oncology infusion centers and services home infusion in the tri-state area. Baptist is a faith based community organization that also employs hundreds of physicians with clinics across the Baptist footprint.
Significant Projects
Baptist has implemented Epic as its EHR in all hospitals, infusion centers, and clinics. Projects underway include centralized medication distribution, expanding meds to bed, and specialty pharmacy.
