ASHP Adds AHFSfirstFAX™ to Premier Drug Reference, AHFS Drug Information

Health care professionals can ensure that they are basing their drug therapy decisions on the most current information available by using a new feature of AHFS Drug Information?. Now, free with a paid subscription, AHFSfirstFax™ provides one-page faxed overview monographs on all new FDA-approved drug products and molecular entities. This new service allows subscribers the most up-to- date drug information on newly released drugs.

AHFS Drug Information has served as an important resource for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals for more than 40 years and is recognized by the federal government and most U.S. health systems as an authoritative source of unbiased, evaluative material on drugs. The compendium offers objective evaluations of the medical literature and FDA-approved labeling information on thousands of drug products, including prescription, over-the-counter, and ophthalmic drugs, as well as data on scientifically valid unlabeled uses. AHFS DI drug monographs are also available in a variety of electronic formats.
