ASHP Takes Regional Approach to Member Services

Kate Traynor

Each staff member in ASHP’s Member and Affiliate Relations Division will focus on a section of the country as the division implements a new approach to addressing the needs of ASHP members.

Staffers will become experts on the issues confronting health-system pharmacists in various geographic areas by visiting health systems, meeting with pharmacy students, and attending state society meetings. These efforts will be led by Hannah J. Kim, Pharm.D., formerly the director of the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum, who was appointed director of the Member and Affiliate Relations Division in August. Michelle M. Mucha, Pharm.D., has assumed responsibility for the Student Forum. Other members of the division include Senior Associate C. David Lorms, CAE; and Member Relations Associate Jill L. Nickols, Pharm.D., M.B.A. Nickols is responsible for ASHP’s New Practitioner programs.
