Specialty Review Courses to Be Held March 31 and April 1

Practitioners wanting to obtain certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) in oncology pharmacy or psychiatric pharmacy can boost their chances of passing the exam by attending a review course to be held by ASHP, March 31 and April 1, in Denver.

Each two-day review course is designed to help pharmacists refresh their knowledge of specialty concepts in preparation for the BPS exam. Participants will receive 16 or 17 hours of continuing-education credit after completing the course. The courses were developed with the assistance of the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists and funded through educational grants from Aventis Oncology (for the oncology pharmacy review course) and Janssen Pharmaceutica Research Foundation (for the psychiatric pharmacy review course).
