ASHP Past President Named to AFPE Board of Directors
ASHP Past President Christene M. Jolowsky, M.S., FASHP, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE).
Jolowsky, Executive Director for Applied and Experiential Education and Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in Minneapolis, will serve as ASHP’s representative to the AFPE board. She previously served as ASHP President (2015-2016) and has served terms on the ASHP Board of Directors and the ASHP Foundation Board of Directors. Jolowsky is also a Past President of the Minnesota Society of Health-System Pharmacists and was the recipient of its Preceptor of the Year and Hallie Bruce awards.
AFPE is the nation’s largest and oldest pharmacy foundation. The organization provides fellowships, scholarships, and grants to prepare students for careers in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Jolowsky will serve on the AFPE board’s education and planning committee.
