Graduation Year: 2028

Spark into pharmacy:
My high school dance team coach was in pharmacy school during her time coaching me, and I was always impressed by her depth of knowledge about medicine. As I progressed through college, I became fascinated by how the body responds to different drugs, and that curiosity ultimately pulled me into the profession.

Professional Interests:
Critical care, infectious diseases, pediatrics, and cardiology.

Journey to PSF Executive Committee:
I first learned about ASHP PSF through my own SSHP chapter and an ASHP mentor. At my school, I have served as P1 Liaison, President-Elect, and now President of our local SSHP. This past year, I had the opportunity to serve nationally on the PSF Student Society Development Advisory Group, where I helped develop resources to support SSHP chapters in areas like annual planning, leadership transitions, and member recruitment. Working alongside the Executive Committee members at our advisory group meetings inspired me to apply for the EC and continue contributing at the national level.

Why PSF Executive Committee:
I am passionate about advocating for the profession of pharmacy and expanding our scope of practice. Joining the PSF Executive Committee is an exciting opportunity to get involved at the national level, meet new people, and serve a greater purpose within the organization!

Benefits of being involved in ASHP as a student:
ASHP has been a cornerstone of my professional development. I have taken advantage of CV reviews multiple times, attended residency prep sessions, and was paired with a fantastic mentor through ASHP this past year. My involvement has helped me build leadership skills and confidence through my local SSHP, and I have contributed to a national SSHP leadership resource guide through my advisory group work. Beyond the tangible resources, ASHP has exposed me to the breadth of pharmacy practice and helped me imagine what my own career might look like.

Goals for the year as a PSF Executive Committee Member:
Advocate for the profession of pharmacy on a national platform; support SSHP chapters across the country by helping them access resources and share best practices; and engage students at every stage of pharmacy school, from P1s navigating their first year to final-year students preparing for the next step.

Fun Fact:
I’m a born-and-raised Coloradan who has lived in the same town my whole life, happy to share local recommendations with anyone visiting the state!
