Reasons for selecting this career path

I have always leaned toward the Healthcare field, but wanted something that was a little different from the “interesting” stories I would hear about from ER nurses. Pharmacy just seemed to fit while still being involved in the Healthcare setting.

Professional Interests

• I love finding new ways that a Pharmacy Technician can be utilized in areas that have not been explored.
• Advancing the roles and public understanding specific to a Hospital Pharmacy Technician

Interest in the PTF Executive Committee

I am always trying to find ways to advance my career as a Pharmacy Technician and learn from others. This committee seems like a great way to do that and meet others with like minded goals!

Benefits of being involved in ASHP as a Pharmacy Technician

• The connections that can be made with other Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists.
• Being able to read/write many of the posts that are made to ASHP connect and seeing the thoughts and ideas that respond to those conversations.

Fun Fact

I like to go out and play a round of Disc Golf every once in a while (If you are unfamiliar, it’s pretty fun)!
