ASHP Pharmacy Technicians

Pharmacy technicians work closely with pharmacists in hospitals, drug and grocery stores, and other medical settings to help prepare and distribute medicines to patients. As pharmacies expand patient care services, the role of and need for pharmacy technicians is also expanding.

ASHP is committed to advancing the role of pharmacy technicians and recognizing their vital role in pharmacy practice. We are proud to serve as the membership home for pharmacy technicians, and offer a variety of continually expanding tools, education, and professional resources to help pharmacy technicians advance their practice. To further elevate and advance the pharmacy technician workforce, ASHP is also offers numerous opportunities for our technician members to network and engage nationally.
