The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) has rules regarding CE redemption for recertification courses and other activities. Please review the table below for important information about your specialty.
Ambulatory (ASHP/ACCP) | Please note, the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Recertification Course, as well as the Fundamentals of Biostatistics and Study Design Workshop, may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Critical Care | Please note, the Critical Care Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Cardiology (ASHP/ACCP) | Please note, the Cardiology Pharmacy Review and Recertification Course may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Geriatric (ASHP/ACCP) | Please note, the Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Recertification Course may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Infectious Diseases (ASHP/ACCP) | Please note, the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Review and Recertification Course may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Oncology (ASHP/ACCP) | Please note, Board Certified Oncology Pharmacists must complete the Oncology Pharmacy Review Course for recertification at least once, but no more than three times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
Pediatric | Please note, the Pediatric Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle. |
